After completing a seed packaging project, there was an option to continue developing it or take a bold new direction. I chose to start fresh and created Ganix, a hard seltzer brand aimed at people looking for organic, healthy alternatives. This was also a chance to explore a personal goal: designing for cans.
After completing a seed packaging project, there was an option to continue developing it or take a bold new direction. I chose to start fresh and created Ganix, a hard seltzer brand aimed at people looking for organic, healthy alternatives. This was also a chance to explore a personal goal: designing for cans.
I carried over design principles from the seed project to create a bright and energetic identity for Ganix. The visuals highlight the drink’s zero-calorie, refreshing nature using bold colors and clean shapes. I designed not only the cans but also a structured can holder to give the product a premium feel. To keep things realistic, I worked with manufacturers and adjusted the design to fit actual production needs.
One challenge was standing out in a crowded market while keeping the design simple and functional. I wanted Ganix to feel different from other hard seltzers but still clean and easy to recognize. Balancing creative freedom with production constraints helped me think more like a brand designer and less like a student. Although it remains a concept, Ganix is designed to be ready for shelves.
